"First Day Of School"
Today was Brysen's first day of kindergarten. When he came up the stairs this morning he was chanting, "first day of school!". He was all dressed and ready to go. He didn't match but he was adamant on wearing the outfit he picked out. We had our chocolate chip pancakes, picture, and then we were on our way. Brysen has about 6 other kids in his class that he goes to church with so there was a group of us parents pow-wowed at the playground watching them and taking pictures. Good luck to the teacher with so many kids that know each other and play together all the time! It was nice to have a few hours with just Paige!
Jake has been pretty excited to have Brother go to school with him!
All Grown Up
My nephew Dane was married this last week. Melissa came in to town and stayed with us. It was fun to see and spend time with family. We are excited for Dane and Jessica, Congrats you two!

3rd Grade!
Today was Jake's first day of 3rd grade. We had our annual chocolate chip pancakes to start off the day. We walked up to the school with friends and neighbors and met Jake's teacher. I made sure not to hug Jake in front of his classmates but mouthed, "I love you". Brysen went running up to him and through his arms around his neck and loudly said, " I love you Brother!"
Needless to say he was embarrassed, but I thought it was pretty cute!

Goodbye To Cousin's
Today is the end of our time with Bo, Heather and Hailey. We have had so much fun with them. We did a lot of fun things together and we will all miss them. Thanks for such a fun week and for being great kids!
On our last day with the kids we went up The Canyon and went hiking

Hanging With The Cousin's
I was told yesterday to update our blog so I thought that I had better get that done. We have been staying at my brother and sister-in-laws house watching their kids while they are in Alaska. It has been fun visiting with them, our kids are in heaven getting to see their cousins so much.
I finished Breaking Dawn, it seems to be on everyones mind. I was disappointed with the book. It wasn't horrible to read, just not the huge page turner the others were.
Jake had a soccer tournament last week. We were really happy for the team, they were playing against teams that are in a higher league but they held their own and placed second.
We leave here on Sunday and Jake starts school Monday. Brysen will start the following week. I will try not to cry this year. I can't believe how summer has flown by.
